Thank you to all our veteran's on this Veteran's Day - to those past, present, and future, and most especially to my dad, my husband, and my son - thank you for your willingness to serve.
Looking through life’s ordinary situations to find the truth, whether that happens to be in a good laugh - or in a good rant.

Thank you to all our veteran's on this Veteran's Day - to those past, present, and future, and most especially to my dad, my husband, and my son - thank you for your willingness to serve.

Here's to your men--and all the other vets.
Thank you to you and your family, from me and mine. Happy Veterans' Day.
Thank YOU Mary Alice, for the feeding and caring and loving of your soldier men. And handsome men they, are!
I am thankful that today you & your loved ones are safe.
Thanks to those in your family who serve. And to the families who support them. Growing up an Army brat, I know the special sacrifice that takes.
From distant relation Ethan Allen (not the furniture maker but the Revolutionary War guerrilla leader) to my late father, a career Army officer and veteran of two wars, service has been part of our family, too.
Everyone else, I urge you to support Veterans with more than words. Write your Congressperson and demand expansion of the GI Bill and restoration of many of the veterans benefits and hospitals lost under the last administration. They are more sorely needed now than ever.
Amen, Mary Alice. Thanks for this post and for your lovely comment on my blog.
Thank you to all the men in your family...and to the women who stand beside them. I cheered on as many as I could at the parade up 5th Ave. in NYC today...it was great!
thank YOU, and your kids, and military man, and rescue ranger. thank YOU for what you've done.
