Thankful Thursday, Guest Edition

yo is me lives in southern california and has never written a blurb about herself or her blogging. she ignores capital letters and often rambles. she also thinks that talking about herself in the third person is awkward and a little confusing.

mary alice mean face asked a few of us to guest blog for her this week. i jumped at the chance because i want to steal her mom.

i picked thursday because it came after wednesday. specifically, this wednesday which was one of those days at work ... one of those days that you mark in your calendar because it's a deadline day ... it's a pressure day where you're under the microscope, your work is questioned, you've planned and hoped and now your fingers are crossed, and other people count on you. and i picked thursday because the pressure would be relieved.

this kind of pressure.
you might not be able to tell in the picture above, but i'm REALLY freaked out.

and for today being over, i am thankful.
i'm thankful for my coworkers who let me mumble to myself while i plugged away.
i'm thankful for dinner today with my sister, my cousin and her girlfriend.
i'm thankful for grey goose and vod--haha... grey goose IS vodka! i meant grey goose and club soda with a twist.
i'm thankful for showers, the kind that wash days like today off of your head.
i'm thankful for beers in said showers. mmmm.... nice cold beer in nice warm shower...sunsets.i'm thankful for my bed. my glorious bed with her glorious pillows. fifteen more minutes until Bed and I are One.
i'm thankful for giggles and laughs. the closed eyes and wide open laughs that scrub days like this clean.
